Since April of 2020, I have researched and written over 100 Humanitarian and Compassionate applications for failed refugees in Canada, all of whom were on the brink of removal from the country. The applications I have worked on were for applicants from over 20 different countries, including Nigeria, India, Bangladesh, various countries in the Caribbean, Egypt, Indonesia, and more. Over the last six years, I have created compelling, thoroughly researched – and most importantly of all – persuasive narratives that have led to an over 50% success rate on the applications that have already been processed by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
I have been able to create these narratives using my experience as a published writer of both fiction and nonfiction books. My method involves treating every application as an opportunity to tell the applicant’s story in an individualized, visceral, and cogent manner that does not hope for but demands genuine consideration and empathy from the immigration officer reading it. Furthermore, every single one of these narratives includes appropriate news articles from credible sources, relevant academic papers, and verified statistics that enhance the potency of the application.
I am not a lawyer, nor am I a certified immigration consultant. Instead, I work with lawyers and immigration consultants to do what many of them cannot, which is construct an expertly told story that brings the applicant to life by making their plight, fears, and value to Canada impossible to ignore.

I have years of experience helping storytellers bring their ideas to life by talking with them, brainstorming, and constructively criticizing what they have already prepared in order to create the story they see so clearly in their mind but can’t seem to reproduce on the page. I will assist in developing your ideas - whether they are for the page or the screen - and editing the finished product to ensure it is polished, clear, and ready to be read or seen.
